BlackBox Ports Description
USB-C Power Port - This is used with a typical us-c charging cable to power the unit and to recharge the internal battery.
External Sensor Port - This port can be used with any 2 wire normally open circuit. When the two wires connected to this port are shorted together, the BlackBox is triggered. Make sure any device that you use has this configuration. Otherwise, the BlackBox will trigger constantly until there is an event, then it will do nothing. So, understand this before connecting and wondering why the opposite may be happening.
Recessed Power Switch - A recessed power switch was chosen to power on the unit because it cannot be easily turned off. If the switch was not recessed, then the possibility of being turned off accidentally could occur. This also keeps the BlackBox from being easily tampered with. A pen point or similar is all that is needed to turn it on or off.
